Draft — pending legal review

Your Privacy Choices

The choices you can make about how KeyCustody uses data, in plain language.

This page is a good-faith draft describing the privacy choices that exist and work today. It has not yet been reviewed by qualified counsel. See our Privacy Policy for the fuller picture of how we handle information.

Cookies and similar technologies

Strictly necessary cookies (sign-in sessions, security, your organization selection) are always active — the product cannot work without them. Optional performance and analytics measurement is off unless you turn it on, and you can change your choice at any time: .

Cookie categories

Necessary

These cookies are necessary for the website to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are usually only set in response to actions made by you which amount to a request for services, such as setting your privacy preferences, logging in, or filling in forms.

Analytics

These cookies help us to understand how visitors engage with the website. We may use a set of cookies to collect information and report site usage statistics. In addition to reporting site usage statistics, data collected may also be used, together with some of the advertising cookies described, to help show more relevant ads across the web and to measure interactions with the ads we show.

Functionality

We use a set of cookies that are optional for the website to function. They are usually only set in response to information provided to the website to personalize and optimize your experience as well as remember your chat history.

Selling and sharing

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. There is no advertising on KeyCustody. Under laws like the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information — since we do not do either, there is nothing to opt out of today. If that ever changes, we will update this page and provide an opt-out mechanism here.

Global Privacy Control

We support the Global Privacy Control (GPC) (opens in a new tab) signal. If your browser or a browser extension sends a GPC signal, we automatically treat it as a request to decline every optional cookie category — you do not need to also click through the Manage Cookies dialog, though you can still open it at any time to review or change your choice.

Making a privacy request

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, request a copy, correct inaccuracies, or request deletion. To make a request, email security@keycustody.io from the address associated with your request, and describe what you are asking for. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests. We aim to acknowledge requests promptly and to complete verified requests within 45 days, consistent with applicable law (with an extension of up to 45 additional days when reasonably necessary, in which case we will tell you why). If your organization manages your KeyCustody account, some requests may need to be fulfilled through your organization's administrator, since the underlying records belong to that organization.
